Samuel Hunter Wood passed away tragically on June 10, 2021. Sam will be remembered for his kind personality, quick wit and contagious laughter. Everyone loved his wry and spontaneous comments as well as his open heart. He was always willing to help a friend in need.

Sam loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and being with friends and family enjoying the simple pleasures life had to offer. He struggled with chronic, arthritic pain most of his life. He was provided pain killers at a young age which led to a harrowing journey of dependency. Sam's family started this Hope Fund to honor his life by helping others who struggle with addiction.
